How do I use the gold sticker that came with my logbook?
Author: admin
I just bought a pilot logbook and opened it up and there was a gold sticker. Someone told me it was for me to put my name on the front in gold lettering, but how do I do that?
Do I put the gold side down or what?
There is probably a smooth place on the cover of the logbook, often a rectangle in the lower right corner… place the gold sticker over that place and sign or print your name on the sticker… Remove the sticker and your name is transferred in gold to the logbook cover…
Suggest coating it with a couple of coats of Future or other acrylic floor wax, or similar to keep it from prematurely wearing off…

TheCollectorsCoach (Jack DeAngelis) – gives 2 central bank scenarios:
1. Central banks all dump their gold on the market at once to drive it down
2. CBs run the price of gold up to 5,000 then fix the price
Disclaimer:
I never heard of Jack DeAngelis until today and I just started watching his videos – so far they are great, although I don’t 100% agree with him on everything.
Also I didn’t go to Yale, but if you watch the video I will tell you why I am wearing that shirt.

How much gold should you have in your portfolio?
Author: admin
My family has about $10,000 worth in gold assets, so I was just wondering.
In normal times I would say between 5-10%. However, with the recent runup in the price of gold, I might cut down on that. When gold was trading around $1,000 an ounce I sold off all my gold stocks. I think gold has had it’s run. If you’re concerned about inflation I believe oil stocks are a better inflation hedge at this time.

I have a 88 yamaha warrior and it came out with the gold colored aluminum wheels. I have heard of people taking the gold coloring out. What is the easiest way to do this?
The other poster is dead wrong. The only way to remove the gold anodizing is to sand and polish your rims.If you use oven cleaner it will not remove the anodizing and can cause serious damage to the sealing surface.
